ประวัติความเป็นมาของสาขาวิชานิเทศศาสตร์และหลักสูตร

สาขาวิชานิเทศศาสตร์ คณะวิทยาการจัดการ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏนครปฐม ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2528 เป็นภาควิชาการสื่อสารและการประชาสัมพันธ์  ได้เริ่มเปิดสอนนักศึกษาระดับอนุปริญญา วารสารศาสตร์และการประชาสัมพันธ์ ต่อมาปี พ.ศ. 2534 ได้เริ่มเปิดสอนนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี หลักสูตร
ศิลปศาสตรบัณฑิต โปรแกรมวิชานิเทศศาสตร์ เพื่อยกระดับการเรียนการสอนในระดับปริญญาตรี จึงได้พัฒนาหลักสูตรจากศิลปศาสตรบัณฑิต เป็นนิเทศศาสตรบัณฑิต

ปัจจุบัน สาขาวิชานิเทศศาสตร์ คณะวิทยาการจัดการ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏนครปฐม เปิดการเรียนการสอนในระดับปริญญาตรี หลักสูตรนิเทศศาสตรบัณฑิต 2 แขนงวิชา ดังนี้

1. สาขาวิชานิเทศศาสตร์ (การประชาสัมพันธ์)
2. สาขาวิชานิเทศศาสตร์ (วิทยุกระจายเสียงและวิทยุโทรทัศน์) 

History of Communication Arts and Curriculum

The Communication Arts Program was established in 1985 in order to serve the need of communication and public relations. Originally, there were a diploma program in Journalism and Mass Communication. In 1991, the program has changed the name to Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts Program in order to enhance education, so the Faculty of Management Science has developed from the Bachelor of Arts to Bachelor of Communication Arts.

At present, the Communication Arts Program, faculty of Management Science, provides undergraduate students with two majors of Bachelor of Communication Arts which are:

1. Communication Arts Program in Public relations

2. Communication Arts Program in Broadcasting
